Support Our School

When you support our PTA, you help build a community that supports students, parents and teachers so all children have access to a vibrant and enriching place learn. Below are a variety of ways to provide support–through purchases you already make, by attending events or donating directly. We have received donations from families that range from $2 to $1,000 and we are grateful for each and every one. Your gift in any amount makes a difference. Thank you!

Invite Friends & Family to Join
Ask family, friends, Godparents, co-workers and cousins to support our school, too! Share the link and directions above to make it easy for them. Contributions add up, so spread the word!

Holy Cow

What better way to support a great cause than with a delicious burger? Holy Cow contributes $.25 for every burger sold when the cashier enters our school code, Code 75, at checkout. Just let them know when you’re at the register you’d like to support MVCS with Code 75. It’s a delicious way to earn money for our school!

Harris Teeter

Log into (or create) your online account at harristeeter.com. Once logged in, click on My Account and enter code 4668 in the “Together in Education” section. You can register up to 5 schools to benefit from your purchases. The customer service desk at the store can also help connect your card with our school.

Box Tops for Education

Scan Grocery Store Receipts
MVCS earns $.10 for every eligible Box Top product purchased when you scan your grocery store receipt with the dedicated app. First, download the Box Tops for Education app. Create (or sign into) your account and choose MVCS. You can search by the zip code of the school, 22305, or the full school name, MOUNT VERNON COMMUNITY SCHOOL. Tap the scan button and snap a photo of your receipt within 14 days of purchase. Coca-Cola GIVE

Coca-Cola will donate to our school when you enter codes printed inside cartons or bottle caps of a variety of their beverages (list here). To enter codes, visit this link, scroll to “Donate to your local school” and click on “Donate now.” You can search by the zip code of the school, 22305, or the school name, MT VERNON COMMUNITY SCHOOL.

Lands’ End

Lands’ End donates 3% of your purchase price to MVCS when you buy through the Lands’ End Uniform Shop and enter our school code. Create an account, shop their website for school uniform pieces and enter our school code, 900183443, before checking out.
